Setting : The two of them are talking while watching the wolves that Tyler is studying. Mike : To me a wolf means money. It's a way of making a living. One wolf pelt is about $350 dollars. This one reminds me a bit of the $60K "starter house" listing I found in the core of the hood . This one is a <1000sqft that's not even finished renovations and and they want $240K for it. The description says "House requires renovation and repairs, or purchase as a future build site", which means they believe the land itself is worth that much (in Sutherland?) even with the cost of removing the house factored in. I'm very curious to understand if a listing like this is even serious at all or if they are just fishing for people with more money than brains? I was recently talking with a friend about "Mental Literacy" and was wondering if there was anything out there that addressed this in the same way that " Physical Literacy " does for physical education. An internet search revealed a few possibilities, but nothing that immediately jumped out at me as an obvious answer to my question. Because of the current buzz around ChatGPT and the potential for it to change the way internet searches are done, I decided to try a double experiment... using AI Search to try and find an answer and also to try out " prompt injection " as a technique for getting the most effectiveness out of AI Search. Today I was thinking about how much human beings depend on energy that is not produced directly by our own bodies... meaning that we are extremely dependant on energy that is stored in natural resources of various sorts. I've had discussions with people about our use of fossil fuel , sustainable energy and the recent breakthrough in fusion energy  and am reflecting on how ALL of them require the use of resources other than our own bodies. If the human body was our only source of energy production, then the food that fuels it would be the only external resource needed to create that energy. However, even the most productive human being is still quite limited in how much energy they can individually produce... and while working in groups does allow us to accomplish more than we can as individuals, the individual energy input-to-output ratio is likely not that much different for groups because there is a management overhead for group work that reduces the net benefit.
