At the point where I told ChatGPT that I was having some trouble following and understanding the topic was where it specifically felt like I was the one now being subjected to the Turing Test because it seemed to be more capable than me on a topic that supposedly I as a human am deemed to be inherently better at.
This has me thinking about the depiction of artificial intelligence with the HAL 9000 character and how the "quality and quantity of available data" was it's problem... but this same idea applies to people as well. The environment a person exists in greatly affects the quality of their intelligence and consciousness. The environment at the beginning of a person's life is the most important.
